Brilliant Harmony


Brilliant Harmony is a female voice choir formed in 1988, with Ko Matsushita as its artistic director.
In pursuit of new possibilities of female voice chorus and profounder musical expressions,
the choir has been engaged in a wide variety of activities such as holding annual concerts,
recording CD's and participating in international contests.
In 2002, the choir was awarded Gold Prize and NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) Prize
in the Private Division at JCA National Choral Competition.
This was followed by winning Second Prize of Female Voice Category,
First Prize of Free Program Category and Public Prize at Florilege Vocal de Tours in France in 2003.
In the following year, the choir was awarded Grand Prize at 36 Tolosa Choral Contest in Spain,
along with First Prize in Polyphony Category and Folklore Category.
The first comprehensive Grand Prix as a female chorus team of Asia was awarded.
"European Grand Prix competition" (Bulgaria) participation for which the Grand Prix winner
in each competition of the Europe 6 major competitions was nominated in May, 2005.
The place of activity is extended abroad.
